  Have tried to play 5 times at St Andrews a full 18 holes, but finishes after 9, have posted in bug log. but it's not helping me get my handicap down at .3 at a time. any chance of sorting it

  Why are you wasting your time at SA setting up your own rounds? You'll be there forever even when you get this fixed. You're better off playing the unlimited weeklies where you can restart PLUS you'd be learning something more than SA. Your average will drop like a rock.  :-)
