To the people who use Cleves: you don't always need full backspin.

For some reason, I'm seeing way too many people lately with Cleves who drop it 2 feet from the pin and end up 25 feet from the pin, due to a B/S that would make Michael Jackson jealous.

I know it also has a lot to do with the ball bs also.  But, full bs is better than half back spin.  It confused me when I first got them.  I think it was scotthope who ran a little test on them and posted it in here when I asked about bs,

Full bs is going so fast that if you wan't very little bs it is the way to go.

Try it using the mulligan feature in practice

With the Callaway 33, 1/2 of the green dot upward (i.e. covering 1/2 of the Callaway title) will stop the ball dead on Full shots . BS work fine on Flops/Pitch/Chip shots.

If you use the MAX Spin wedges, you dont need to apply any BS.
