  Creating duplicate cc tournaments has been happening to me rather frequently for quite awhile (multiple years) now.

  Customer Service recommended not to have any other browser windows or tabs open when creating a cc tournament.

  The above worked for me the last couple times I created cc tournaments, but that's not much of a test yet to confirm the recommendation works all the time.

  Customer Service has always been reasonably quick to refund any credits removed from my account due to an erroneously created duplicate tournament.

  I only had one browser and one tab opened this morning when it happened, so I think this is wgt grasping at straws. C

  I just created a Bracket tournament today and noticed this has a CANCEL feature now.... Funny Never had a problem with a duplicate Bracket ever!

  So it it's possible to cancel an event just not a duplicate stroke play event....WTH?

   As for removing tournaments, it's not as easy as it seems... I been requesting that for a while but I am not sure if it'll happen anytime soon.

  CC bracket tournaments may take weeks or even months to fill. So canceling them might make sense.

  But what I really need is a notification in the club messages when the clock starts ticking after the 16th member signed up.

  But such an obvious feature is naturally totally non obvious to a WGT developer.

  Hit create. If after 8-9 seconds elapse, I hit cancel. It takes me back to the open tourneys page. I scroll down to see if it took or not.

  This is NOT foolproof. Once I got back to the page and it wasn't there. I used the back button to reload and redo. When I got back to the Open page, it was there twice. 

  Since then, if the tourney doesn't show, I open game client to be double sure. In most instances, it's there. Refreshing the Open Tourney page, will finally reveal it.
