I finally spring for new irons and new putter thinking it will give me even better control than what I have now and everything falls apart. I don't get it.

As time goes by here, there are usually several up-grades one will go to. I have, and probably expected more than what was. Nothing very major took place except some slight change with improvement on the table...it just takes a little small time to get that improvement off the table and onto the course.

    My 2 Pfennig:

Allow yourself some time to get comfortable with the game. It's bound to become much more challenging!

As a Pro, you play very good and expensive balls. The only downside is that they fix you to slow meter equipment. Unless there's any personal challenge making this inevitable, try faster and cheaper equipment - you will probably get used to it.

    Ball recommendation: Tour-SD or Srixon.

IMHO, it's much more important to improve the short game than the long shots. You might get two short ATV wedges now, or the budget alternative of Ping wedges in a few days - ehm - levels.

Concerning the long irons, consider the R11s whenever you are ready.

You don't have these new clubs equipped. Just thought I'd mention it.
