For the record I play better with volume but in company with my partner it bloody annoys us both. Surely you can create an option to turn it off but still be able to hear the strike of the ball.

it IS an environmental sound and therefore belongs in that section of audio which can then be controlled.

    Me too!

Thanks WGT! - for listening to the many players that over time have suggested something like the clapping.

What an absolutely horrible update. I shudder every time and I hear it and will now be forced to play with the sound off till I can disable it.

it would be VERY irritating if you played a 4some and there was at least 1 bird for every hole. Heaven forbid 4 people shooting 28s.

    VOLUME control

maybe cheering like at a real tourney instead... sounds like people clapping at the end of a play put on by children
