Those of us who've been around a while remember when Livegamer awarded 75 credits for 50 views. They cut that in half. now we are presented with the following.

Nothing beyond 7 views per day.

With Radium I get 2 credits per view.

With Supersonic I get 2-3 credits per view.

However, with Livegamer, even the views are worth less than one per.

Drop these losers or get them on board with something worthwhile.

I'd have thought that it would be up to WGT to decide how much we are credited for watching.

Your better off buying your credits.

I've never known anyone to be better off after spending money. I got 2 surveys for 90 credits each and 1 for 540 this morning. All in work's time.

The Live Gamer section often has extra videos that are worth 5 views (3.75 credits per view), 2 views (1.5 credits), or 3 views (2.25 credits) .

The first quarter of 2014 just ended and the extra views have dried up, but that is nothing new as advertisers often take a break, evaluate results from the 1st quarter and then start their next ad campaigns.

Last month it was pretty easy to get at least 150 credits a day from the Live Gamer videos.

I don't do these as much as before. After I went back to work  after retiring for 9 months watching the 5 view videos just cuts into my play time too much. Before I went back to work many days I got 150 credits and quite a few days i got 225 and one day I got 300. The real credit maker for a long time was the socialvibe videos. many 4 and 5 credit videos that paid off after watching the video only a few seconds.

    Yep.

I thought it fairly ironic that they came up with the scenario that the most credits were earned by NOT watching at all, but rather monitoring the tab with the count down. I found that I got the best return with 7 tabs in play.

Nothing like the heyday of repeaters. Back when 50 views got you 75 credits, there was one repeater that basically got me a credit per mouse click. Over 5000 without even trying that hard.

Firstly, I'll be open and honest, I personally find the videos surveys to be an insult, in that the credits they offer are on slave level payment levels. To me it has to be more efficient to work for legal levels of pay and use that pay to fund your game.

However I acknowledge that many fund their game this way and if you are doing so while at work that payment is at least in addition to what you get from your employer, but I think we may need to gloss over the morality of doing such things while you are being paid to do something else.

I would though be interested to hear of anyone outside the USA and GB who manages to do so, and indeed this may be the source of my views. Here in China and from what I hear in most other nations apart from USA / GB I get no surveys at all, (not one single one in the two years I've been playing) and I don't even get the carousel now so I have absolutely zero 'free' credit source, last year I did have access to the carousel for a massive 7 views per day total, no extras nothing.

So those of you who can fund your game costs this way congratulations, just be aware that it really isn't an option for a very large number of us.

+1 John - Objective and would be interesting to see what level of credits players outside of the US and UK can earn "free".

And I have done 1 better than you John, I did once get 1 survey, worth 90cr by memory. Well it took approximately half an hour to complete - a massive  hourly  rate of $1.80.

I also only get 7 carousel views,  occasionally  a video worth 2-3 credits, perhaps a couple of times per week.

Courteney, you may able to do these surveys at work, many cannot. I could as I own my own business but for $1.80 an hour, you must be kidding. Time is money so I would be insane to waste my time doing this. Am I better off? Yes because that half hour is costing me $$$.

Now I fully understand that many players would/could not play at a decent level without these credits and therefore is an essential part of the game to these players. But players also have to understand, that as an advertiser/survey they need to see a return on their investment.

I hope for these players they do get a chance to earn extra credits - therefore I hope WGT works with new companies to do so. Then everyone wins.
