The only reason I use the cheap balls I do instead of starter balls is because my R11 irons are unplayable without some feel bonus.
Perfectly understandable. In fact, I feel the exact same way. My main concern is that even if I use balls with a feel bonus, I'm going to struggle with these clubs. Today I decided to put them through a 'trial run' of sorts in a tierless bracket tourney opening round at Kiawah. I paired the R11's with a level 11 Srixon with 2.0 dots of feel. SEVERAL times during the round I missed the dinger early and hooked it, but the only time it significantly hurt me was the par 3 5th hole. Shanked it way left into 2nd cut rough, and managed crank my flop 2nd a good 9 feet past. Two putted for a front 9 bogey, surprisingly my only bogey of the day. I did make Birds at 1, 3, 7, 10, 11, and 14 to finish with a cute little 67. 83% GIR with avg DTP of 10.6 feet, not too bad I suppose. Overall the meter wasn't too outrageous, although that may simply be due to the fact that I failed to clear my before I replaced the previous RocketBladez with the R11's. I suppose this round was a good sign, but I still have a ways to go before I'll feel comfortable using these clubs on a regular basis.

Take the advice given above, u won't regret it. Ur winnings from RG's will cover ur ball expense.
Sigh. If only wishing made it so. I've been on tour for nearly a full year now, and I've never entered a single Ready Go. I consider it a complete waste of the credits that I do have, and I'd rather put them towards new equipment or the occasional sleeve of Srixons or GI2s every now and then. Why, just the other day at Andrews I four (4!!!!!) putted the 13th, failed to get up and down on 17 after my approach couldn't hold the green, and I had to rage quit multiple times because of either 3 putting or failing to get up and down on 2. I don't think that sounds like someone who is capable of finishing in the money in a Ready Go. Hell, even the aforementioned 67 at Kiawah I missed a fricken 4 foot putt for bird on the 3rd hole. There's nothing I'd love more than to be able to earn credits simply through playing the game, but sadly I just don't have the skill to do it.
