Any input on which one is better? Thanks in advance for any help with this decision.

We might have a free rental weekend during the Masters. We have had one the last 2 years. You could rent it and find out. I intend to rent it if we have one.

Thanks. I will wait for that and test both of them out.

    hi

both are excellent. as I hit my drives with 80%+ bs all the time, I prefer r1, but I know many who hit all ns/ts drives and they all use high trajectory drivers.

The club does not have that much superior length as the R1 (I have/had them both).

The thing I find with this new Cally driver is, it's forgiveness! I get lots of "OH $HIT" shots that turn out ok?!@#$

It's really kinda funny actually. You hit a drive that would sail off the fairway with the R1 but this Cally really forgives a slightly errant drive.

    IMHO

Good point about the backspin on drives with the R1. To me it plays like a longer and MUCH more forgiving version of the old R9, which really needed some backspin to control it.

R1 in my estimation is more forgiving. from my experience. But my real issue here is with my chat window...have 2 use commas, dots.or dashes for spacing   had Windows.7..had no issues.. I've now got Windows 8.1...chat window..needs.spaces,etc...I've tried all browsers. Maxthon,Firefox,etc...not any of them made a difference ..Currently using IE., and players have told me about pepper-flash  etc....nothing seems 2 work...Went 2 my brothers house a little while ago., he still has windows 7... I used his computer for a game  NO problem with the spacebar / chat window.   Bothers me , in a way., but doesn't affect my gameplay.,just frustrating..........HELP..any1....AL

I can't speak to the Big Bertha Driver, I would like to give it a try on a free weekend though.

Hard to pry the R1 out of my hands unless something is way better.  I did try the Big Bertha 3 Wood and was impressed enough to swap out my R11s for it.. Great club.
