  I'll take a guess and say he probably means the way the game plays?  Many people say the game plays differently when credits are at stake, they find there is more deviation, putts break differently and a myriad of other differences, real or perceived.

  Of course it could be something else entirely.

  Seriously. I've noticed the same. It seems the VEM is turned up when creds are on the line. Seems to be affecting brackets, too.
