I am a brand new Master and I went to the pro shop to upgrade my driver to handle the new tee positions and nothing was opened up to me.  Must I keep the old driver I had as an beginner.  If so, I cant compete from the Master tees.

You will be able to buy it when you either "level up" or WGT rethinks its policy regarding "tier based equipment'.

The WGT eliminated of the "tier based" system for the purchase of equipment in favor of a "level of experience" based system...fact is they should have simply added the "level of experience" system as a second pathway to the better equipment...too bad they did not embrace the dual pathway suggestion...now they will either have to backtrack or folks in your situation will remain quite frustrated...Harve

Hang in there Bob-those level numbers next to the clubs show you what you need to be at to get them. With the new accelerators in place you won't be out in the cold for long.  GL

You have a 250 yard driver now. There are lots of masters with the original clubs, I think you'll cope.

yep, but you have to compete with "old" masters who own their old good  275 yards R9 master drivers

They should totally come out with a new, level 80-85 driver.

    Hint, hint.

what tehy should o is put a ONE driver that has no level to get to and is only for master like they do for pro's so incase people turn teh master and are using teh starter clubs they can at least upgrade a bit.....tehy should put out maybe a 265 just for masters with no level
