Somehow I got career earnings of $1.50  How would I have earned money?  I never entered any Tourneys where I used credits.

Hey. Career earnings reflect everything you have won or attained by playing World Golf Tour.  Career earnings are a combination of WGT credits, values of prizes/trips won in tournaments, and promotion bonuses earned from advancing through the tiers.

Unlike Credits, your Earnings are simply a statistic and are not available to spend in the Pro Shop. For more information on the game you can always visit the Help / FAQ page found at the link below.

Your $1.50 or 150 credits explained.

$0.50 or 50 credits for advancing from hack tier to amateur tier.

$1.00 or 100 credits for advancing from amateur tier to pro tier.

It is all explained in the FAQ's over there >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

    Welcome to the forum!

    WGTyphoon:

Career earnings are a combination of WGT credits, values of prizes/trips won in tournaments, and promotion bonuses earned from advancing through the tiers.

With all due respect, may I ask you some questions?

    Aren't credits just credits?

Aren't the usual tournament prizes just credits, rare trips or extraordinary gifts excluded?

    Aren't promotion bonuses just credits?

In consequence, may I assume that the earnings are mostly formed from credits?

    WGTyphoon:

Unlike Credits, your Earnings are simply a statistic and are not available to spend in the Pro Shop.

So, if there's 4x "Yes!" as an answer, what would discriminate earnings from credits?

How can a user earn money (1,50 $) from WGT bonuses?

In general, how can credits be exchanged into $$ or displayed as $$? (read the T&Cs before answering, please)

Edit: wee extension in the last Q

The Earnings were credits added to the players credits total, and were indeed available to be spent in the Pro Shop. But when spent are not deducted from the Earnings statistic.

    True of course - undoubtable.

    The Earnings were credits [...]

But, how can Ty state "unlike Credits", differenciating earnings from credits? You don't.

And, how can earned credits become $$ like the OP mentioned (and Ty accepted), since they "have no monetary value" (T&Cs)?

Though I value your attempt to explain the matter, I'm rather seeking an official answer to these questions regarding official statements. Unfortunately, former questions to another mod were left unanswered. How comes?
