Not necessarily true. In the Seemore line the L30 has more forgiveness than the L55. On the Ping line all 3 putters have the same forgiveness.
They have to factor in ALL attributes when assigning Levels and Prices.
In the case of the Odyssey, the L59 does have 1.5 more Forgiveness than the L74, but also .3 less Precision and 1.0 less Balance. Meter speeds are identical.
In the case of the Seemore, the L30 does have 1.0 more Forgiveness than the L55, but also .5 less Precision and both have identical Balance, while the L30 has .5 slower meter speed (and costs 250 more credits than the L55)
Kind of points to WGT putting more emphasis on Precision, Balance, and Meter Speed over Forgiveness.
