Yes I agree, it has happen several times to my friends and I for the last two weeks. Saturday night 05/11/2014 happen to me in two games. First game, my avatar was froze in the back swing and nothing happen. I close the window and tried to go back from the lobby and it said I or my parter didn't return in time so we lost and we where up by 3 hole in our Alternate shot game. The following game after that we played to the fifth hole again, up by two holes and was about to be up by three, with a gimme putt for birdie, my screen turn blue and froze. So I closed it and the same thing happened again, same crap, you or your partner did not return in time, you lose. What really pissed me off was, I didn't get any xp points for either game, but lost hits to my balls. I really don't see any point in continuing to play this game anymore. If it's not the VEM making your game impossible to score, it's using games due to wgt's bugs in their game. It appears, the more maintenance they do, the more the game gets screwed up. Enough is enough, to much is dogs bait.
