Hello fellow WGTer's,I'm at level 33 and looking to update my equipment,I have been trying to do surveys  but seems I do not qualify for most it's very frustrating and tedious to say the least but I have managed to acquire 427 credits and need advice, playing with the starter stuff has been fun but i would like to get better at this game and it appears the only way to improve is to get better equipment which I fully understand.

I have a decent driver (thanks again Hawker) and I'm thinking my next purchase will be a better 3 wood or when I get more credits the level 15 rocket blades, after reading a lot about the clubs in the forums it seems wedges are very important too,so I'm kinda torn as to what would be my best investment with what I have to work with ( I use the 10 cent wgt ball),what should I buy first? and what would benefit my game most, any replies from you more experienced players would be greatly appreciated....thank you all very much....Laura...

A lot of folks say start with the lvl 40 something pings wedges cheap and work well

i had the lvl 59 pings good set even with cheap balls but u r a ways off from that and idk how well the other clubs peform

(i had the lvl 15 bladez they r ok but not great and dont forget to watch the videos sometimes u can get 40 or more credits a day if u find the right time to watch them)

plus u will get more use out of the wedges over a 3 wood

The L59 G20 PW goes 115, work down from there with 95, 75, and 60 (54W, 60W, and 64W) yard Pings. And when you get to 59, get rid of the hybrid for the 3 wedges.

I'd agree that wedges are the best next step. The closer you get to the pin, the easier the putt.

+1 on the wedges, having a good short game will save you many shots.  I'd wait until you get to L40+ and give the Pings a go.  I've only just noticed the WGT Pro wedges, same price as the Ping but pathetic stats.  Do they think we just fell off the apple cart or what?  When you buy wedges I'd get 3 evenly spaced ones, start with a 64 degree and fill the gaps between this and your iron set PW.  Get rid of the hybrid, you really don't need it.

I'd tend towards new irons rather than a 3 wood, you'll use them on almost every hole while a 3 wood probably won't get used more than 2 or 3 times in a 9 hole round, at the most.  If you can handle a quick meter the R11 at L32 are already available to you.  They're a fairly hefty price but will see you through to legend if you learn them properly.

Alternatives would be the L27 or L37 Rocketballz.  The lower level ones have a slower meter and better forgiveness but less precision and spin.  The L37 look like pretty good competition for the R11, they have more spin, slightly faster meter and less forgiveness.  It's not an easy choice and there are others that will come into the equation too.

Personally I'd go R11, the high level set are great clubs and if you've learned these lower level ones you shouldn't have any trouble adapting to the high level ones.  And you shouldn't need anything new until you get to L90 unless the Nikes at L85 catch your eye while you're browsing the pro shop.

A good value ball that performs well is the Tour SD, 65 cents per sleeve.  Obviously a big jump from 10 but a great ball for the price.

When a 3 wood becomes necessary I'd give the L30 R11 a look.  There's also a nice Cally X-Hot at L33 but the price is pretty insane.

You'll probably get different advice from different people, nobody is right or wrong, we all have our own opinions as to which is the best way to go.

The main thing is to have fun.
