  It appears that when you go to Stroke Play, you can only play your specific tier. If you go to Practice Mode, the Locks disappear.

  I haven't checked myself Tops, you mean a pro can't play on tourney greens and from championship tees etc.?

  It has always been that way for a ranked round.  WGT sets the game up.  It's just now they have added the padlock graphic.  You can still pick and choose in practice mode.

  They have had the padlock on the mobile version for ranked rounds for months.
