Just an observation, I have been playing this game for a few weeks now trying to get better at it. Im not getting any better and you know why? Because putting in this game seems a bit unrealistic to me. These shot meters are impossible to understand, the arc is also impossible to understand how to line up your putt right. You could put full backspin on the ball and it still would roll 32 ft. from the hole. I miss putts from 2 feet away. The rest of the game I love, but the putting in this game is going to make you lose a lot of customers. I have yet to finish a game as E let alone under par. And your lessons, I have watched them all, they do teach you how to play, but help you none in getting better at playing it. I have been playing golf in real life for years and this game is not realistic at all. So stop advertising it as so. Perhaps if this issue is not resolved, I will quit playing this game. I am not impressed with it at all.

Starter clubs and balls are not meant to play the same as top of the line ones, Its your choice to play or not.

Instead of ranting about how inexperienced you obviously are, go there to the forum pages, find game tips as a start---------------------------------------------------------------->>>>>

Ask for advice, you will get as much as you want, people will try and help.....

There are hundreds of people who have made it to tour legend, in order to do this they have had to learn to putt.

The key word here being learn.   I don't know if you play golf for real but if you do I bet you didn't play your first round with 1 putt per hole.   It's tough at first but you have to stick at it, it will get easier.

If you're missing putts from 2 feet I would imagine you're under hitting and over thinking them.  Just aim centre hole and hit the ball 5 feet.

Putting takes a LOT of practice.. I've been here just over a month and although my putting still needs major improvement, I am getting better. I just played 18 at RSG and hit 7 birdie putts.. also bogied 6 holes but that's beside the point.. lol.. If you stick with it, and practice enough, you WILL improve. Good luck.

I wonder how to put backspin on putts? I've been here for 2.5 years and never learned! You must be much better than me...

OTOH, when you come to even par you are ready for the next tier. Practice!

At last, a warning: Buying putters or balls will not replace the need for practice - IMHO you'll need no putter of less than 500 crs.

Yes you are new to the game , and you have much too learn . This is not a give me game .If you want to get better you can , with time . Just like real golf , this game takes a lot of time , practice , and patience . If you plan on flying through it , you will be in for a big surprise . So here is some advice for you .

First start doing the videos and surveys to earn your credits . These you will need for club upgrades , and balls .

Play practice rounds as much as possible , to learn the game . Also use the search box >>>>>>> here in the forums , to learn . You can also come here , and ask for help , and many will try to help you .

We all started off just like you , and learned our way along .  Next month , I will have been playing this game for 3 years . Guess what , I`m still learning . I play everyday , 3-5 times , if not more . I currently have 1004 days of consecutive days played . Yet and still , every day , I`m still learning .

So if you want to learn , you can . If you want to get better , you can as well . But you will have to put your time in , just like we all have . This is not Tiger woods golf , its better. Here you truly get you play for , just like real golf . So if you have been playing real golf for years , you didnt start off a great player . You had to learn how to play , before you could play .

So put your time in and learn . Quit crying and complaining , about how hard it is . It gets better with time . Good luck with your game , if you stick with it . If you decide to leave , I wish you well . :-)
