If you use backspin with a strong cross wind, expect the ball to move more. If the wind is slightly moving towards you, it will lose distance, even more if you use backspin, the more bs,, the more it will be affected by the wind. But if the wind is slightly pushing the ball to any side, then you gain distance. if u use topspin(I don't) then u should gain distance, even against wind, unless the ball lands in some hazard.
The longer the distance of the club, the more the wind will affect it during flight... and ding...
