Make a bullet points list of changes after an update even if it's in the forum instead of the News section.

Like they did in the past.   If you go to the news area and read through some of the old archives they would report fixes and updates.

Example for a month after I joined WGT.   Scroll down a bit and you will see "bug fixes".

    EdJaws:

Major bug fixes should be posted in the News section, IMO. Moderate bug fixes that affect game play should be posted here in the Forum.

Three reasons, off the top of my head, why the former does not happen:

    a. The News section is used for public relations, which means it is limited to the posting of POSITIVE information. Would WGT post what the reading public might view as negative information in so prominent a place?

    b. Customer service people - paid at roughly $12/hour - generally are provided read-only access to company image-critical web pages. Programmers and other chosen few employees who have password-protected rights to post to the News section are, I'd presume, paid $40+ per hour. Spending the time to document, post, review, and edit bug fix text would not be an efficient use of company funds.

    c. WGT decison-makers likely believe the majority of customers don't care about the specifics of bug fixes. And they are probably correct.
