  I keep getting people inviting me for a Free Match Game when I am blue for a money game.  It's very frustrating and wastes my time.  What good is the option if it doesn't keep players from doiing this?

  Yea,  I use the blue sometimes when no friends are available but seem to always get invites to games not of the type I had selected for being blue.

   

  I feel your frustration.  

   

  Get rid of the blue light and give me a yellow ball.  ;-)

  It's been that way since the creation of the blue light as far I can remember.  Already thought it was known. ;-)

  Yea,  thought that was why people were suggesting different colors for the different game modes a while back.  Because they were getting invites to games that they weren't looking for.  I could be wrong though.
