    Hi everyone,

As you know, our courses are "dot rated", and don't have a course rating.  I have been working really hard on a new handicapping system that uses the USGA handicapping system as a model.

What I would like to do is come up with some realistic "Course Ratings" and slope ratings for our current courses (not the actual course ratings you can google, as these aren't really relevant to this game)..

In real golf here in the United States, a course rating shows the average score a scratch golfer should shoot on the course from the designated tee position.  For example, lets say that the course has a 72 handicap.  From the black tees, the course may have a course rating of 71.3, from the blue tees, the course may have a rating of 69.8, from the white tees, the course may have a rating of 67.1 and from the reds, it may have a rating of 64.5.  These ratings are averages from scratch golfers.

What I would like to obtain are scores shot by tour legends on the various tee locations using moderate winds and tournament green speeds (championship would be better, but probably not available).  I know some of the scores are going to be ridiculously low, but it will give me a method to determine what our best players shoot from each tee box.

Would you all be kind enough to reply to this thread with the following information:

Course name, game mode (front 9, back 9 or full 18), tee box, and score.  The more I receive, the better the averages I can obtain.

Once I have all of the data compiled, I will share this information with the WGT community.

    Thanks for your help!

Hi and thanks for this information.  It pretty much falls in line to the averages I have from the tips for these two courses.

What I'd like to get are numbers from the tees you usually wouldn't play (the Pro/Tour Pro tees and the Master/Tour Master tees ... usually designated as White and Blue for US courses).  This will help me determine course ratings from the lower tees.

Thanks again for your time and effort!

    Hi all,

I no longer need this information.  I will use the single-play tournamnt data to determine a course rating.

    Thanks for your help!
