I've seen some great players w/ all Cleves. Also, I've noticed many players have a mix of  wedge brands. Some have all ATVs, some have to old Z Satins.

    What is your story?

MAX, Cleveland, PING, TaylorMade, WGT, Snake Eyes, Starters?

I may end up w/ a mix of ATV and Cleves. My CTTH set includes the small ATV and 3 other Cleves. I'm not sure of which ball might work out with my choice.

I'd like to hear your story if you want to share.

I see that  Wontonamo  has the Cleveland 56, PING tour-w 60 and the TM Z 64. Nice combo.

Another top earner spozz1 has  TM Z Satin 54, Snake eyes 60 and TM Z Satin 60.

yes J i carry and use those clubs cos i like the 50, 75, 100 gaps - next yardage up is 125 for me so its covers my bases.

i get punches of 41, 62 and 84 as well as 108 which also covers my bases.

i never pitch beyond 13y which is my satin - that thing goes anywhere from 7y-20y depending on slope and where its used.

i only flop up to 25y which the ping helps with.

reason why i dont use the top level wedges is the spin is uncontrollable for me. id rather use the pings and satin which have a consistent back up as well as hop and stops for full back spin - not spin off the green type stuff. having said that tho the cleveland 100y is awesome to hold greens in big tailwinds using fullshot and punch with full back spin.

i rarely play ctth so i dont really know what u need for that.

oh btw dont confuse me with the top players lol - im basically a hack that wgt throws a bone to once in a while to keep me playing :)

CTTH no real clue as hardly go there.

General play you have great wedges.  I suggest you just learn those as they can very well (satins no longer a choice for us anyway).  All that said with what you have I can't see how you would need to learn wedges that well for general play from TPro tees, as you must be short shot at most in.  Maybe you are driving most greens / just missing?...Cleves will get the job done for you though, any shot from 4 through 107 yards really...Around the green think pitch first wherever you can as a basic IMO..E.G. CG64 pitched FBS at 66% power goes X........etc etc..

Always thought the ATVs were better. I prefer the increments and they don't spin excessively.

It is a good idea to have all your clubs including wedges to have the same meter speed. Using the high level ATV which have a slower meter speed is great if you do not use a premium ball. The Clevelands had too much spin which was a bit of a  hindrance since the higher lofted club doesnt require as much BS due to the trajectory

    I use All high level ATVs (86, 87, 89) which I just got 2 of those very recently (64W 6/18, 56W 6/15, and 60W 4/30). I had been using CG16 L76, Ping L42, and ATV L39 as late as the last part of April. In Blitz/CTTH/Par 3 Pratice, I use these yardages: 100, 90, 75, 60, 50 (Same three wedges as above, with the L41 56W Ping, and L80 CG16 64W for the 60 yard amount.)

I got the Cle's (60,80,100yrd)  and the spin can be horrid at times....lol

I don't use any b/spin (leave the dot in the centre) for normal shots with those wedges. I will use a little top spin to gain an extra few yards if needed.

I will only use full B/spin for Flop Shots

They only had too much spin if you added spin. The Clevelands work great with neutral or a touch of T/S. The ATV's were supposed to replace the Z-Satins but they were IMO never as good as the old Z-Satins. The 64 degree is nowhere near as consistent as the Z-Satin 64 was. And at more than twice the cost they should be much better. I still use my 64 degree Z-Satin for my CTTH club set and my par 3 club set.
