I have been a member for quite some time and have been on the master tier for a while as well.  I play lots of tournaments and usally rank around 18-30 for the stroke play, lumped in with a rate top 10 and occasional DNP.  For the ready goes I am also consistenly 8-14.  This month i played my ass of for the June Par 3 challenge and shot -8 on the first round to end up t31, all i want to do is place in the top 70 for this tournament.  So naturally for no *** reason I was upgraded to tour master where i now am tied for 208 with my same score.  Why was i upgraded?  I had fun on the master level and wasnt exactly dominating?  Can someone explain this?  If I am stuck on the tour master level I have no choice but to give up as there is no point in playing if i cant win any credits.

Loads of threads with the tier requirements in basic form as I am sure you are aware.  Winning credits / beating higher tiers can also become part of the calc, and WGT do not reveal their methodology for that, but threads discussing it all over too.

You never get to go down.

Have a look around (if not done so) at all the discussions on equipment / new green speed etc to help do well.

I think you are confused about the tournament you mention. If you join one at one tier you continue in that tournament at that tier until it has finished. I can't seem to find it either but that could be me.

@BG20: Your earnings tell a story...

I'm convinced that you will fare well as a TM once you have become used to the slippery greens. Then you'll win credits again and eventually get promoted to Legend.

    Then the fun will begin!
