I have been playing WGT for a couple years.  They recently changed their flash system. I am now unable to play the game. I do not use windows, nor will I use it in the future.  The system is Ubuntu which works well.  The flash player is shockwave. Worked just find with the game until this latest change, I tried to download the adobe flash player, doesn't seem to take.

I emailed WGT customer service and their response was basically to thank me for my understanding. My reply was that I was not understanding at all and they had lost a customer. This was about a week ago, nothing from them since,

I someone should have a simple solution, I would appreciate it.  I would emphasize the word simple. I will try, but I'm not that great with computers and I'm not willing to spend a lot of time trying to fix the problem.  I'll adjust to not playing the game although I fell cheated about the credits I have purchased.

Did you try to get adobe for "other browsers"?

Plus, it's Adobe Flash you want, not shockwave-as I know it.

That the equivalent of going to a biker bar to sell your moped LOL

Long time Linux users switched to Linux because they knew how much info microsoft keeps , not to mention they were virus and malware free, and hate windows...lol

Or you can try Maxthon browser for Linux . If its anything like the versions for windows , it will come with flash attached . It will also be locked to prevent updating .

So there you go , a simple solution to the problem . Hope it works for you . :-)

WGT didn't change their Adobe Flash Player system, because Flash Player is owned by Adobe and WGT has no way to change it.

For those using Chrome, (chrome://plugins/) make sure this Adobe Flash Player plugin is disabled:

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\35.0.1916.153\PepperFlash\pepflashplayer.dll

And that this Adobe Flash Player is enabled:

    C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash\NPSWF32_14_0_0_125.dll

I worded it the wrong way. My system works with a shockwave flash player. Worked fine with the game until the recent change. I will not go back to using windows 8, too  many problems with other things I use my computer for. Nothing has changed except for the game. h well.
