I love multi-player stroke play games, but one thing I'd like to have is have a bit more control when searching for an open game - similar to the ctrl+click cherry-picking you do in Windows when you want to select only certain files.  Right now, we either specify a course, or find a random open game, and then you get whatever.

I'd like to be able to eliminate Merion from that random pool, or the best-ofs (or whatever), so it randomizes among only the courses I love most.  Ideally you could set your preferences including favorite courses, and then "choose a random course among your favorites".

One solution - Be the one that creates the game.

Tis one solution, very true. I like surprises though, and although I really love this game there are courses I can't stand, and always seem to get.  It's not a big gripe mind you - just a "would be nice if..."

If I could add one option to the "search for games" it would be this.

    Group size:   twosome/threesome/foursome.

The times I actually search for a random game,  I seem to find the one host that hits "tee off" as soon as one person joins the lobby.  I prefer 3 at least, just in case one quits or has a tech issue and leaves the game. Then I'm not left to finish alone. Well, in theory. :)
