    Fantasy shot!

The ball ended up in Swilcan Burn and managed to dive a few yards against the current - see cam 2. Unfortunately, the usual ball retrievers have not been included in this game.

LOL! I'd call it "Eis" then.

Reminds me of a game I played in chilly conditions - December? On that course, the greens were open, no Winter greens as on most other German courses. The ball missed the green only by a fraction. When I chipped from 4 m, the ball caught speed on the rink and scated to the opposite fringe ;)

Yeah, frozen courses can be entertaining.  I remember playing one very cold day years ago at my local course in Rothbury.  The first hole has the river running alongside the left edge of the fairway, always a bit of a daunting first tee shot at the best of times.

I played safe, middle of the fairway but the ball took a big bounce left, another, another and kept doing this until it bounced into the damn river.   Reloaded and aimed a bit more right.  Bounced on the right half of the fairway, big bounce left..... I'm sure you can guess the rest.

Not a great start to a round, thankfully it was just for fun.

Not that that's one of the words that came out of my mouth during that 2 or 3 minutes.
