I have meter problems everyday. I find the meter, especially in tournaments, speed up every second shot to cause you to miss. Or is just programming to frustrate you into buying their meter gadget. It really pisses me off. But, if it is programming I would like to know?

When you have a less than smooth meter, look at how busy the CPU in your computer is.

One key to a smooth meter is making sure the CPU in your computer is not being used by other programs or processes as you play WGT.

Here is some more information on other things you can do to help you have a Smooth Meter

A different browser is worth trying, there are dozens of them out there and some suit some PC's more than others.

I've had so many meter issues since I started that I decided not to pay any more cash into this.  Awfully strange that you can play well for 6-7 holes without any issue, then the meter acts up in mid shot and end up losing balls over things you appear to have no control over.   I'm tired of paying money for poor performance by the WGT application.

I hear y'a   I am a programmer and write applications too.   There are quite a few things that doesn't make sense to me either.   But I just get more frustrated that the game "hiccups" at just the right time to screw up a good round, losing balls in the process (which is why I seldom will buy anything related to balls).  Example from today is I'm playing the Kaiwah 18 and actually got it to 11 under (best for me I think) and was on the water hole 17th, where I teed off and clicked, and watch meter move over 1/4" after I clicked, thus losing ball in water while taking a 7.   Birdied 18 with a starter ball for -8.   WGT denies anything strange is going on (just server activity), but find it hard to believe since I see this consistently.
