Very well managed WGT!!!  If player not coming from the united states of wonderland, then you do not get anything back, only kind words, that's it...!!!  Support team there is so lousy and weak to take care of issues if your country belongs to minority. Emmys case shows to everyone that, if you gonna lose account to the hackers, you're a stupid if you think you will get some help from the site administrators side. Your only hope is your good and loyal friends in your cc. Administrators focus on completely incoming amount of the deposits, someone could say, a bit greedy attitude... They will love you, if you deposit more and more cash and you keep mouth shut.  I'm really disappointed and pissed off at this moment...But hey, I represent a minority, so does it really matter???!!!  I am very close to stop my game on this website.  If I do so ... it's not because of scoundrels & wenches with whom I play ... the only reason is the way how things are handled on this website.          send, latexico

    HuskerJackie:

    The person guessed her password

While I'm sympathetic to her problem I highly doubt this is the case...the odds on guessing someones password would be worse than winning the lottery...

trusted someone who duped her is more likely....

I agree, maybe a friend of bad spirit... a fake friend.

Lamentable, but it happens all the time on real life...

All she wanted was control of her account back, not a huge thing to ask for. She did not ask for payback, just her account back that bared her name and picture. She had email proof it was hers and someone changed her email. In the said email it says contact customer support if you did not do this.

The judging powers here said no she could not have it back. But they did eventually agree to take control away from everyone instead. Only WGT and the gifter knows where the gifts went. Her username was her 1st and last name, PW was her 1st name, which is a seriously Blonde thing to do. So not exactly hard to guess now is it.

I find it hard to believe that the same treatment would be given to someone who actually matters on here. Like someone consistently on the winnings list on the home page of this site. Or like the original poster said from the USA maybe. Discrimination regardless of what type is still discrimination.

They had absolutely no reason not to give it back.

Lol, well even that is better than "111111" "123456" "qwerty" or good old "password"...

It's a shame, hopefully they at least banned the culprit..

I'll bet at least 10 people will be changing their passwords before the day is over after reading this post lol...

I doubt it, but the account they went to prolly was. But the powers that be here are not allowed to discuss others accounts with anyone. So who knows.
