As far as the Stats is concern, who cares, that again is just an ego booster.

jiggsie, I'm with these other guys...what's so bad about lowering your scores? I play St. Andrews way more than other courses, why? Cause I score better there than the other courses! I know my average score rating is lower than it should be, but so what? It's more fun to shoot a lower score...DUH!

All this is going to is create a bunch of Tour Legends and Legends that have no business with that tier. I could see it if were only to be used to "inflate the ego" but it should not be used to lower the average score or to compete in tournaments.

It's going to be abused. I've seen players play it over and over just to lower their scores. It's like putting a bowl of chocolates in front of a person on a diet, or a bottle of Jack in front of an alcoholic; and telling them "don't touch"  If it's there it will be used, it's WGT's responsibility to see that it's not abused.

There has been suggestions to add a No Wind option to be used in the CC's to set tournaments. Add the No Wind  and Easy Tees together and tell me that you can make those tournaments competitive.

I can't possibly see how WGT could reap any benefits from having either of these options available. Again I can see it just for fun, but treat the average scores the same as you do the par 3's and par 5's, and don't allow them in Tournaments. As far as the Stats is concern, who cares, that again is just an ego booster.

I know where you're coming from, and I also had that initial concern when I first heard of choosing the kiddie tees for CC tournies.  However, the truth is that people have been riding low wind front 9 BPB and BoF long before this feature, so it's not like there's some never-before-seen method to coast to a tier you don't belong.

This was my initial thought but when you think about it, a TM getting to the Legend tier or a Legend getting to the TL tier does put both types into a poor place that will probably wreck their game for a while. They sure won't be owning any kind of open tournament or ReadyGo. In fact, it really only waters down the AS competition and that's for fun only ATM so in the end it's no big deal.

However, on the CC level where it's used with discretion it really makes competitions interesting. Especially if you're in a CC that uses handicaps and counts those rounds towards that handicap. It's a nice twist in a 4 round tournament to have a red tee or two round show up because it's something you're not used to and can really mess with you.

The first trip through on a little BPB front 9 CC fun tournament from the red tees really had me paying attention because it had been so long since I played from those tees. Even took a 6 on #2 because I wasn't sure how to get around the tree. Back tees is easy, pull the drive. LOL, try that from the front tee and you get a 6!

Many tour legends made a lot of their advances when they first introduced the TL tier when there was a bug in CC tourneys where all legends were playing from shorter tees. And like many have said many TL's made it by setting up tourneys at BPB front 9 with low winds fast or very fast green speeds and easy pins.

And why are you worried about these new legends and tour legends shooting themselves in the foot so to speak. I mean they make it the easy way and won't we able to compete with the true legends and tour legends and will be here in the forums whining about that. Especially the lower level players who make it that way  then whinging about not having the clubs they need to compete.

Interesting, interesting. Everyone is yoked differently. I only play the weekly-monthly stroke tourneys, and little random alt-shot. That is all. I have a CC I never use, and never will...I wish I knew how to lose it. All the rest is just conversation. My only requirement ? Fun. No fun, no SP.

jiggsie, if you want to join my CC, I promote optional voice chat (free C3 or teamspeak) , off-game text chat, Twitch live streaming, google hangouts and FB group

Plus, we don't have that option for lower tees.

Also, 'We' have no members! haha

Most all of the recent CC tournys I made were playing random conditions.

p.s. in the last several weeks only 4 of 36 games were STA , and one was BPB...back 9.

    Owner tools:

    1) Transfer ownership to a member who is willing to take it,

    2) shut the CC down for good.
