I have been using St. Andrews #1 but even with wind set to "Low" I never see anything below 9 mph? Can anyone suggest a very flat fairway at a course which would have lower winds when "Low" is selected? Apparently a "low" wind in Scotland is subjective ;-).

    Thanks

TopShelf is right - just remember that every course plays a little different - so even hitting the same club, a no wind shot on SA may go farther than a no wind shot at Merion. Also remember that every course plays pretty much the same, round after round. So you have to "map" your courses as well as your clubs.

In a CC with low wind settings you get about 2mph on Kiawah. Lots of the fairways there are flat.

I think I remember someone saying they use Congressional back 9 for mapping.

I did it a few times.
