  Can anyone give me some tips for this hole?

  If I land the ball anywhere on the green, the ball shoots off the green - sometimes in one bounce. Even landing on the front  fringe with full backspin sees the ball disappear over the edge of the back. If I land before the green, the ball just stops dead in rough, Whatever I do seems to leave  me with a horrible second shot.

  Is there a magic club that works well for this hole?

  Balls with  spin  and irons  with high trajectory stop the ball quickly

  Did that ball have nails embedded in it? The contrast between that and what I do is unreal.

  I think I'll have to do some surveys.
