MichaelStroke: Not sure how you think a 20% reduction in durability constitutes "the same price".
Exactly! The L33's give you 360 hits per sleeve vs 300 hits for a L43 sleeve. The extra 60 hits from the L33s will give you about 2 and a half more 9 hole rounds per sleeve.
To both Michael and Andy,
I understand that the sleeve of 33's would last longer and therefore be cheaper in the long run so thanks for pointing that out.
My OP meant that both sleeves are 250 credits and whether or not it would be worth gaining the .05 distance and losing the .05 in durability.
Cheers.
Well, let's make it apples and apples then. Would you pay 63 more credits for a sleeve of balls to have 0.5 more distance, ceteris paribus?
If distance is that much of a premium for you, you could go 2 levels higher and take a ball that's 300 a sleeve, trading a full point of spin for a full point of distance. It's still cheaper on a per-swing basis than the legend balls.
