    Are the Americans going to give us a challenge this year ?

    I used to love the Ryder Cup, but increasingly over the years the behaviour of the crowds has progressively deteriorated to the point of disgust.

    Nothing wrong with being competitive, nationalistic and showing gamesmanship, but remember it is golf, and should at least bear those principles that most golfers share.

    I agree with you on this point !

    but think that if any sportsmanship then it will be shown at gleneagles !

    we will not have any of the yeehaaws and running over the hole before a final putt !!

    For those of us that remember that one !! It made me sick!  The gentleman's game was forgotten by most of hosts that day !
