OK, I am based in Czech Republic which is 6 hours ahead of New York time for example.
I play a game at say 7 or 8am my time and not any problems whatsoever, either single or matchplay challenges, A/S etc., probably because most of the USA is sleeping.
Now we come to say 8pm my time and all of a sudden it just aint having it. Slow loads, boot outs, screens of death. I gave up playing week-ends altogether for this reason.
I am on the same PC, same internet connection, same bl@@dy everything.
Monday thru Thursday its relatively OK but forget the remainder.
Write to WGT and get told the usual clean your cache blah blah blah.
Local "PING" examples come in at around 12ms up to 100 mile range. Pinging the UK servers will go up to around 25ms. My latest PING test to the USA, 850ms (worst result was ver 2000ms) and a download speed of 2.5Mbps instead of 80-90 which is what I normally get.
Overloaded servers on behalf of WGT are more than likely the main cause of this. Funny how I can play absolutely any other game in the world, stream LIVE TV from the Czech Republic on my laptop, even 5000 miles away when I was in Dubai, but load up a multi player and play even a 9 holer on WGT does not exist.
Thats my few Kč / cents / pennies worth
