    Should have just dropped the trajectory of the Bertha driver and added those extra yards to it. A longer 3 wood isn't needed very often.   I'm sure that would have made quite a bit of sales.  Or at least gave those of us who aren't at the correct level yet a reason to play more to get the needed xp's.

    +1  I'd possibly jump on it if not for that lower trajectory. Another thought, since when is a 3w harder to control than a driver, never IRL. My L89 BB 3w is the worst club in the bag, no way I'll take a chance with the new one with less stopping power.

    I have not tried it. However, with the BB-L96 driver, I can easily play most of our courses sans my BB 3 wood and load 4 wedges. Above it reads as if I could use the BB 'Bomber' 3 wood as the driver, and fairway 'Gunner' also with 4 wedges...it must be said that the Nike L 97 irons make these options possible. ~ SP ~
