I'm sure this has been brought up before, but the automatic drop after going in a hazard is ridiculous.  I was put here:

Surely we could be given option to rehit from original position at least?  It should not be that difficult to give straight line relief between where ball crossed hazard as well?  I seem to recall being able to do it on golf game on my MegaDrive for goodness sake!

Edit: Why does the picture show in edit but not on in post?  Anyway, suffice to say was put in 50% rough with shot over water....

    Concerning the drops:

Take it as a man - no changes in sight!

Concerning the picture: Be sure to upload it to a public location - you can access&copy it from there. Presence on your local PC may only allow it to be visible locally.

Postimage.org is a good site. Less hassle than most.

The only issue with the drops is that all water hazards are treated as water hazards. There are no lateral water hazards in this game. Makes a BIG difference at holes like 18 Congressional. You hit it in the water to the back hole location, and you are usually forced to rehit the shot instead of dropping by the green as in the real game

I beg to differ: It is only one of the issues.

Since we get no choice of the drop location, the spot of the previous shot is at least legal. It may be as unfortunate as some preselected locations in rough or sand, cf. KIA#17 from Legend tees. Same @CCC#10, depending from where and to where you hit the water. In one situation you may get a drop on a shorter tee (on a tee peg!), the next time it may be a rough shot. And, there are ricidulous and illegal drops behind trees on the opposite side (CCC, #11?), turning the lateral water rule upside down.

But, as I said, we (*) have to take it as men - it won't ever change IMHO.

    (*) the ladies, too!

Draw a line of relief for player to see.  Click on line where to drop ball.  Drop it and live with it.

I'm a wimp and would prefer something close to actual rules.
