You have not provided any info about your operating system, (XP, Vista, Windows 7,Mac or otherwise etc.) or your computers hardware, ( amount of ram, type of CPU or video card) or what browser you are using to give you any technical help.

    JFidanza:
    Any info on 'csrss.exe' ?

The Client Server Runtime Subsystem (csrss) in the Win OS utilizes the process csrss.exe for managing the majority of the graphical instruction sets in the Win OS. "csrss.exe" provides the critical functions of the operating system, and its termination will result in the  Blue Screen of Death  being displayed. . "csrss.exe" controls threading and the Win32 console window features. Threading is where the application splits itself into multiple simultaneous running tasks.

This particular process will only be located in your Windows System directory ie: something like C:\Windows\System32\csrss.exe. This process should be using around 1200-1500 K of memory and 00 CPU.

If there is more than one instance of this process and it is not labeled as SYSTEM, then IT IS a Trojan and you need to treat it is as such and remove it, J.

When I play, I shut everything down except the WGT client and Skype and I still get those same messages from Norton periodically. I'm running Windows XP with SP3.  I have only 1 GB of RAM and the NVidia GeForce 7300 LE graphics card. I don't seem to have too many issues with my meter, I just wonder if it could be better given a solution to these messages, if one is even needed.

FWIW incase any one missed it:

I usually use a reasonable laptop, but the house still has an old low end desktop in a corner.  That one has XP, one gig ram and a v low end athlon CPU, and this game is OK on that provided I use the game client full screen.

I use C3 voice chat and if you search the web: e.g. "skype + CPU" you'll find that people don't like that it's a 'memory hog'. Researching lists of best voice-chat programs, I always see Skype on the bottom.

I also like C3 because you can make dozens of rooms, it's easy, and each room is assigned a phone number so people w/ cell phones can call in and join the chat without downloading the program. That's what Yancy does when I stream on Twitch and record the shows.

I have Teamspeak for back up. They have public servers (not an issue w/ C3) and you can join a server for free if you search one.

    note a comment:

"it’s sound is almost as good as skype without being such a bandwith hog"

The other thing I do is keep task manager open beside the game screen to make sure the CPU is below 10.

How in the world to you get your CPU's down to "10"?  When I'm playing. mine stays between 29 and 50 CPU's causing lots of hesitations.  So you won't suggest doing these things, I have already cleared my Cache, cleared all past cookies, and ran a "Disc Cleanup".

when your cpu is running high gerry open up task manager and it'll tell you what programmes are running causing your high cpu usage

i disable things like maintenance scans, window updates and any other non essential software that can automatically start running in the background which causes my cpu to go high,

once ive done that i never shut my pc down when im finished i just put it to sleep so i dont have to repeat the task everytime i turn my pc on

mine runs at 3-6% when playing and i close all other windows/tabs and only have the game screen on
