...you know that notification you get when there's a disconnect... it read something like 'There's a problem with your connection, WGT could not establish a connection between your internet and the server, blah, blah ,blah please check your internet'
I should probably try and screenshot it next time it comes up so I can get the exact quote, anyway. Sometimes it is a problem at the users end...
BUT
many of us have experienced a disconnect due to a technical problem from WGT's end. It's easy to tell when this is the case when playing multiplayer as all players in various countries across the globe simultaneously get disconnected, up flashes the WGT error message (something went wrong). Followed by the 'it's your fault not ours' message.
Yes, sometimes it isn't a problem with our connection it's a problem with WGT's server. Even if you have high-speed internet and every other site loads quickly you'll get a spinning dial trying to access any WGT.com page. It's not maintenance as the page would load fast but you'd see their downtime message.
No, this is a problem (albeit a temporary one) with WGT servers and though it's usually just a temporary glitch it would be nice if the 'user at fault' section of the disconnect message could be removed as it's not always the case.
