This has probably been covered, but I can't find any discussion on exactly what I'm experiencing:

When you choose to replay a shot, whether during a game or from anyone's profile, in the upper right hand corner there is a small(ish) white window that says "Replay Spotlight" in a blue font.  You can close it...which I often do...but other than that, I can see no use for it.

Quite often, the window itself obstructs one's view of the flight of the ball you're trying to watch on the replay.  So, unless it has some function that I'm not aware of, it would seem to me to be something that one could opt to open, not one that everyone who finds it useless has to close.

Can someone enlighten me as to exactly what this thing is or is for?

    Many thanks,

    Oob

The Replay Spotlight is a space for advertising. With Ad Block we just see a white space, no ad.
