I understand, from what I have read in the rules, that there is a formula used on who wins and go forward in a bracket, and that the same formula is used to determine who wins the actual bracket, in case the scores posted are even.

I'd suggest we are shown the scorecards posted in these cases so that it is clear to the losers (in this case, and most cases, me) how the decision is reached.

Just asking for this because it has been in excess to 5 times now where I have been given the old 'john dear' letter when in fact I have not bogeyed any holes during the round, in some instances I actually birdied the last 4 and in all instances, bar none, the opponents that made the next round ahead of me have posted scores worse than mine in the previous rounds.

Ok, I know previous rounds do not matter here, but it seems to me we are rewarding chance over consistency - in the event of a even score, not generally.

I have really never entered competitions as I thought I was not good enough, and mostly they were designed for extraterrestrials of this game, however I thought I had found a way to compete in brackets and I believe openness and clarity should prevail.

Please WGT show the cards in these instances so that we can put our minds at peace - I don't think it is asking for much ... or is it.

    hi

the decision is reached by lower score and if tied via tie breaker rules which are available in FAQ  over there --------------------------->

showing the scorecard offers to benefit to either because you will either see lower score or someone winning by tie breaker rules...

Tanks for the reply Icon and I have read the rules you pointed out to me, but how can it be that I have a 100% loss streak in these cases?

My point is, when the random is to be utilized can't the previous scores be considered?

EDIT: re-reading your response I see I may have been unclear in  what I was trying to convey: It is the tie breaker rule I am talking about as I understand I should usually lose when my score is higher than that of the opponent.

So, when the tie breaker is utilized, it would be useful, for the sake of openness to show how the decision was reached.

    Just a thought.
