  can someone tell me how 4 people can have the same score for a Tourney and 1 player be in first place and the other 3 be tied for 2nd place? Just played the weekly 9 hole single play at Bpb birdied every hole for a 26 and I see im tied for 2nd when the leader also shot a 26. I know it goes by who scored the best on the hardest holes but even if that player Eagled a hole then that means they pared a hole, so we all should be tied for 1st, correct?

  Ties for 1st are excluded, in PGAtour and here, as there must be a single winner. Ties are settled by play-offs there and by computer tie-breaking here. (edit: "scorecard play-off" in amateur tourneys).

  The tie-breaking rules are in the FAQs =>
  and include IIRC a random selection if all other criteria fail.

  It is special anytime one can ease into a top 10 finish here, and of course 1st & 2nd place endings are only dreams yet to come for most players. A 26 at Beth is awesome play by anyone here, regardless of tier. But a Diamond or Crystal trophy is a display to be proud of. Nice going ! ;-}

  This one just came in for me today, for 2nd place, Crystal award Kiawah monthly.

  If there is no play off then all who have the lead score share 1st place, simple.
