Re: twitch.tv... no more video quality settings??

  anyone know if video quality settings on the twitgh.tv player are gone?  seems last 2  weeks or so theres no icons on bottom right of screen to adjust video quality any more!!   I looked for a settings icon but cant find one any where on player.  I enjoy watching the tuesday wgt matches but  if i cant lower the video quality i get to  many pauses and interuptions ,  help!!

  It still shows up for me, I would try different browser and if still not working, reach out to twitch to see if they have a better suggestion.

  ty  yes now they do have a setting called mobile that can change the quality somewhat was able to watch match with very few pauses.

  This might be why:

   

  "Once you reach a certain viewer # threshold, you will get trans coding (quality options). A general rule of thumb is that if you hit triple digits, you'll get it, but the threshold is based on the current viewing population of Twitch, so if there aren't a lot of people on Twitch at the moment, the viewer threshold you need for trans coding will be lower."  ~Brawli55
