I'M POSTING this to warn any unsuspecting WGT members to be on your guard against signing up for some 'offers' etc on WGT.

There are at least three companies that advertise on here practicing fraudulent marketing.  WGT don't seem interested.

    Scam Offers:

    I googled RabbitTv, https://www.google.ie/webhp?client=aff-maxthon-maxthon4&channel=t3&gws_rd=cr,ssl&ei=hk5zVLegDIWZyQSK0IC4Dw#affdom=maxthon.com&channel=t3&q=is+rabbit+tv+a+scam%3F+a+fraud%3F

    SideTickTv,  https://www.google.com/search?q=is+sidetick+tv+a+scam%3F&client=aff-maxthon-maxthon4&channel=t28&gws_rd=ssl

    and Videotripe.   [View:https://www.google.com/webhp?client=aff-maxthon-maxthon4&channel=t3&gws_rd=ssl#affdom=maxthon.com&channel=t3&q=is+videostripe+a+scam?:550:0]

All are connected to scam or dodgy dealings, see the links.

    Hidden Charges:

If you give any of the Casino (and maybe the bookie) companies your bank  details, even if you stop betting, they have a hidden 'account maintenance' charge of at least €5 that they will withdraw from your bank account regularly.

I'm just letting the unknowing that might read this, know.

"Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice shame on me."

    I was fooled once.

    Shame on them and WGT.

THANK YOU!!  for the heads up on this.   Surveys????  They, in the long run, really are a major rip-off (IMO) of time, effort and now peoples hard earned "actual" money.

Nothing but nothing is ever for free!!!

    Again WELL DONE!!

    JZ

I remember when I first started playing here, I logged in with an older laptop, signed up and downloaded and installed almost all of those stupid apps n ***. The sole purpose was to see how fast if would kill the computer with respect to functioning online, be a useful computer. I also wanted to see how infected it became.

Within about two weeks it was all but cooked. Took about 15 mins to fully boot after all the apps had finished handshaking.. pinging.

As for using it online, that was all but impossible. It could just be sitting there idle and the amount of network activity and bandwidth usage for an idle machine was hilarious.

    Yep..... Just say no.
