  winner gets 600 points, ok.

  so 1st club has173, 2nd 781. 781-600=181 thats 8 points more as 1st club - OK!

  next: 1st club has 231, 2nd 826. 826-600=226 means 7 points less than 1st...

  why winner??

  next: 1st 107, 2nd 66. 666-600=66 means 41 points less!!!!!!!!!

   

  HOW TO WIN SUCH COMPETITION???????

  Obviously NOT with more points!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  Winning team gets 500. Top player gets 100.

  The 100 is added to the team total before deciding the winner, The 500 is after that decision.

  So team B finished with 226 but had the player with the highest score; that adds 100, making team B's total 326 and the winner. As the winner, they recieve an additional 500 points.

  Excuse me Courteney:

  Top player gets 100. Then, winning team gets 500.

  So, a CC must be more than 100 ahead to avoid unpleasant surprises.

  Me thinks this number is too high - it may knock over a 399 / 300 lead!
