I would like to know if other WGT players find the commercial ads as annoying as I do. They are particularly unwelcome if you play unlimited tournaments and are trying to beat your own previous score or that of the leader, and you restart the course several times at one sitting. You can not avoid watching the ad each time . Personally, I became thoroughly sick of the Lexus ad and Korean air is not faring much better. I don't know if the constant repetition is enough to dissuade me from buying their products or services, but it certainly doesn't help.  Frankly, it is just a waste of money by the advertisers unless the software can be set up so that you don't see the ad more than twice in any 24 hour period.

    Probably.

Once I got Ad Block I saw no more advertisements in the game client. None, zilch, nada.

Ad Block has been recommend repeatedly in the WGT forums in the last year or so.

While I don't recommend it you may want to try clearing your cache and cookies. This should provide you with a new Advertisement. Again I wouldn't recommend doing that all the every day or all the time.

I use AdBlock Plus for Chrome. Incredibly easy to turn off/on for any site, for when you want to get some credits for ad viewing.

I use Adblock and AdFender. I never see a single add or get lockups some talk about because of ads.

    Korean air

While some ads get to you, at times they are a benefit. Now, I wouldn't be caught dead taking a trip to Korea in a million years. Why would I ? Nevertheless, the ad has been helpful...I reminds me to buy kim-chee, which I do like, but forget to pick-up.
