I am almost at 94 now, be there within a week , Should I go for the extra 0.5 precision ?

I had the 77 nike and loved it , but I did hole more putts with the versa because of the 0.5 balance.

who has had both , I looked at old threads , but want new advice if anyone wants to help me out ?

I don't care about the difference in 20/50 and 30/60, it's the same to me , just different numbers.

I am a ding putter on champ and tournament greens.

lvl 96 versa is about 5 months away.

I still have both Sig m8

Ding putter , go for the Versa , off ding, but only just the Nike....

Nike offers slightly more I believe but with slight miss dinging due to me being me, works slightly better.

so the 0.5 extra is of no worth ??

grr one more thing I can't spend my credits on !

The only differences of note between the two, imo, is balance and precision..

Nike has more precision, but go deeper than the 20 scale and this tells.  A deep meter with the nike will have an appreciably larger grouping 25 feet away than the Versa would.

Versa more balance, and so you can use easily use that 50 foot (shorter travel back) scale more.  Yes less precision technically, but especially using the 15" scale (and heck spot the difference with the 50 if can every month) I don't see you would notice score wise v often.

Choices but no rush, and so waiting for a free rental would be wise IMO  - v rich from me being a sucker in the toy shop, lol.

Now If they ever brought out a L94 Nike with an extra dot of balance or even better a L96 Versa with .5 slower meter.  Then again not sure the game really wants that...

I knew you had tried both , and I am the only one thinking, why bring a lvl 94 putter that is not better than the 70 versa?

And here I thought Nike only wanted to be the best gear on this site ??

I guess I will wait until summer and see if I prefer the faster meter 96

It's a bit different, and only you can decide if it's better.  Shallow meter perhaps it's a putt better every x so many rounds.  Deeper meter though, and it simply won't weight a put as well, and by 20' (conservatively 25' as trying remember my test) stood out a mile the grouping distance difference.  Think there is test documented somewhere, but frankly it was sooo obvious on mine.  Anyone with a good ADP and more OK with shallow meters can see it's fine.

Trouble is the L70 Versa is already v good, and comparing top line putters only goes so far.  Becomes more about the person using it and owning it's every nuance IMHO.  Now what about that new Nike or Versa for me, lol.

My experiences with Versa lvl96 and Nike lvl94:

Versa i the best putter of the two.  But both good

Specially when you miss the ding slightly, the versa doesnt punish you so much.

I cant feel any speed changes meter-vise between the two.

And a little weird it feels like the meter is running more smoothly with the Versa than the Nike on my home pc.

If you have the nike lvl77, upgrade to lvl94. You'll feel the difference in numbers of putts made between 20-30 feets.
