  FWIW - I have the L93+, Black, Limited Edition, TM R1 and got it the 2nd time it was offered for a limited time.

  But I now also have the L96+ BB Alpha 9.0°, Fubuki shaft driver. 

  The way the BB Alpha performs I won't need the L98+, Super TP R1 8.0° White driver with the Oban shaft, and don't use the TM Black, Limited Edition R1 anymore. Which reminds me, I should sell the R1 back to the pro shop - its worth 874 credits.

  I'm sorry I didn't recall the level to get the driver. But you all expect the worst. I LET him means, we didn't have the money for both of us to get drivers and he got his and I waited at least 3 months to ungrade mine because of money. No, I don't NEED it, but every time we play, he tells me how he outdrove me! It gets annoying! I mean every round, every tee!!! :(

  Simple fix there, beat him.  He's not beating you with a driver. :-)

  Or just ask him is that driver helping him catch you in aces - I saw a 6 to 2 difference there.  Make sure to point that out on the par 3s, suggest maybe he should hit driver on them and see if it helps..... :-)

  Just played the new par three's. I was even on the front, he was +1. The back I was -2 and he was +2! I forgot to mention to him to use his driver!!! :) Oh, I got a 7th hole in one on Merion, but it was during alt shot so it didn't go in my stats! :/

  LOL. Let him smack on about his driver, all you have to do is simply say "scoreboard!"  

  FWIW, I use the R1 with the 33 Callaway and am outdriven a lot by the long distance Nike ball. Not much but 3-5 yards sometimes. Big deal, let's talk approaches now.  ;-)
