Not complaining, but a casual observation of what just happened Played 'St. A'  Back9 Ready-Go, On the 18th tee, I hit a shocking shot, I must admit, stopped the metre well after the line and expected to go OOB. The ball kept rolling towards the fence on the right, where the cars are, I presume it rolled and hit the fence, and to my surprise, message came out  'Immoveable Obstruction, Free Drop'    or something like that. Anyway, I played my second shot back on the tee, If it was a free drop shouldn't it be where the fence was, 270 odd yds down the fairway?

If something is not right, right click and submit a problem report to WGT.  Try and give them as much info as you can.

I had the same thing in the Ryder Cup Match Saturday. Went back to the tee and hit my second. Still got down in four but a birdy would have been nice. I had 88 left to the pin after I recieved the free drop message. There is no need to submit a bug report Joey, I think we all know why LOL.

This is something WGT needs to put on their fix list.  Besides, it is a penalty for playing from the wrong place, if the immovable obstruction relief spot is more than one club-length from the correct nearest point of relief.  It would be very unusual for the teeing ground to be the nearest point of relief...certainly not the case on The Last at St. Andrews.

I agree Joey, ok it's a bad shot off the tee, but if it's a free drop, then you should be playing your 2nd onto the green, instead of from the tee.

Yes, a window will pop up that is self explanatory.
