I am director of our Country Club but I do not see "Invite to join country club" option on any of my friends profiles when I view them.
"Director" is but a title with no functions - only the owners may invite players.

for now yes, I am not sure what we will have it for down the line, but we do have plans to give extra powers to the ranked members.
