  My upload speed is only 1MB/s and it seems to work fine. I think you just set the max bitrate in your broadcast tool to 80% of whatever upload speed you have and it will adjust the broadcast resolution accordingly.

  Mags, did you mean1 mbps? (mega bits per second)

  a Megabit(mb) is 1/8 as fast as a Megabyte(MB)

   

  If folks are streaming with less upload speed than my 1.97 mbps then I could do it on another computer but not the 1 I play on which has XP on it, XP isn't compatable with the OBS software....if Mags only has 1mbps his looks like it is pretty smooth.

  It says 4 RAM but I'm pretty sure my Dell Vostro 1510 is under, and it says 'Windows XP SP3' for XSplit broadcaster. I've gotten to like XB because all the features like text crawls, scene changing, or you can you can add on telestrator (chalkboard) if you want to get fancy.

  My laptop can't run OBS, Evolve etc. but XB has that feature I use instead.

  XP will only use/recognize 3 gigs of memory anyway..

  Can't get cable here so it's the phone line - amazing as so close to Sydney, but not that many places down our road I guess...  Looking at the faster than reading reinforces how far Oz is behind other developed nations generally with this anyway though.  

  All that said not something we ever think about as no complaints from anyone here doing anything, and that's including kids doing some online PS4 stuff.

  Yes, megabits not megabytes. 10mbps download, 1mbps upload.
