Have been playing this WGT for a little while now when I first started I frustrated by the shot meters inconsistency players said oh it your computer settings changed all those not much better but hey whatever, everybody has too dealing with the same issues, I think not, I'm positive the problem lies within the WGT server  because one day I can shot 68 next day same course and conditions 78 now I'm no tech wizard but  somethings wrong here because nothing changed on my end, maybe I'm to far away from their server who knows but when u hit the same shot two holes in a row  and they vary in large degree of distance and direction (same conditions,ie wind lie) then what WTF. tiring to be a good sport about it an don't mind losing because the other guy was better because u cant win em all, but when the game is glitching u well that pisses me off ,well that's my rant ,feel better look the same bummer lol

Some call it VEM, and the variation is some spice to the game. Watch the VTC finals on twitch today to see how the cream of the game deals with "WTF" moments.

Not meaning to embarrass you, may I add that you haven't seen it all in 130 rounds, and your equipment can't be perfect due to your level. Still, for those with perfect equipment and loads of practice, this is valid:

Golf is assuredly a mystifying game. It would seem that if a person has hit a golf ball correctly a thousand times, he should be able to duplicate the performance at will. But such is certainly not the case.

Not embarrassed at all alosso just sayin when u use a 64 degree wedge to pitch uphill  off the the fair way a 13yd club should not travel 15 yds uphill that is against the laws of physics thats what chokes me, not the miss hits (well that kinda makes me pissed as well lol)  But on those occasions when all the stars aline and I hit a clean shot it should at least only go the correct distance especially uphill , down hill well gravity's a *** just sayin

This  is happening all the time here - it's rather due to different conditions. AFAIR the numbers are good for landing on FW, not on greens. My 64° Z-Satin (the predecessor of your ATV) shows 13, goes 18, sometimes more on icy greens. My 60° shows  24, goes 30 or more on the greens. (you better get replace that Starter SW, BTW)

Individual mapping is key - check it out with the balls that you use and make notes, e.g. on BPB 10-12.

But it seems to me that this 'condition rule' seems to have an effect even on our drives. We have to keep in mind that the distances displayed in the info of the clubs are only averages. So you always have to count with being a bit shorter or longer with your shots depending on your current euipment, the court relief and topical conditions.

So that the length of most shots towards an even surface is longer than you would generally anticipate is to me whether a matter of bad programming nor a lack of knowledge about physics by the people behind the scenes. Although it has to be said that the software engine leaves some room for improvements behind, especially when it comes to ball behaviour after hitting it. Not to talk about shaping a shot... .
